Easter 2009 saw the debut exhibition Love Factor at Sandy Brown’s Glove Factory in Appledore – a showcase of work from 5 contemporary furniture makers, interspersed with Sandy’s ceramic sculptures & paintings.
Following the success of their 1st collective exhibition, the 5 makers are planning a sequel for Spring 2011, again in the beautiful setting of the Glove Factory.
Their collective exhibition this weekend at The Appledore Visual Arts Festival includes a piece by each maker – more of their work can be seen on their own websites and also at their individual stands at The Contemporary Craft Fair at Bovey Tracey next weekend (11th – 13th June) – more details to follow soon.
